Jito Thane Half Marathon | Registration Details

The race will consist of three categories: Half Marathon (21 KM), 10 KM and 5 KM run.

Eligibility Criteria as on will be announced soon:

Half Marathon - 18 years and above

10 KM - 16 years and above

5 KM - 12 years and above

It is mandatory that participants provide their final COVID Vaccination certificate to be able to participate in the half marathon. Alternatively participants can submit RT-PCR Report during BIB Expo.
Participants should upload relevant identification information (Aadhar / Driving License / PAN / Voter ID Card / Passport) during registration.
Each participant can only register in one category.

Prizes will only be allocated if atleast 10 participants finish the race in each category
The event follows all mandated COVID protocols and expects the same from the participants. Participants must wear a mask at all times.
Fees for the event shall be non-refundable barring cancellation or postponement of the event
It is important to save the confirmation mail regarding the participation of the event for future communication purposes
Participants who fail to adhere to their respective races start times shall be voided of all prizes, result or certificates
To ensure the safety of participants, no wheeled vehicles will be permitted on the race route. Anyone found in the possession of a wheeled vehicle shall be immediately disqualified from the event and asked to leave
Unregistered runners, babies or child ren who are under age are not allowed to run. Similarly, running with pets is not allowed.
To ensure a seamless process in reopening of the roads to the public, the event organisers have kept designated cut off times at checkpoints on the course. If a participant fails to cross the checkpoint at the designated time, they are instructed to stick to the footpath while they finish the course

Protests and Appeals: - Under Rules & Regulations

The participant and/or their representative can appeal in writing to the race organizers regarding the official results declared, within two days of conclusion of the race.
The letter of protest must be submitted via email to info@sportstimingsolutions.in
Organiser’s decision after appropriate investigation on the race results shall be final and binding on all

Prize Money Rules:

Prize money shall be awarded in the form of Cheque only
Provisional winners, in each category, will be declared once the race is finished. Final results are at the discretion of race officials and timing authorities. The payout for winners is to be expected within 15 days of the event
Winners of each category may be asked to provide original identification documentation and a proof of age
The prize money is subject to Indian Income Tax Laws. Deductibles are to be borne by the winner
A participant is eligible for only one prize money. If the participant qualifies to receive prize money in overall and age categories, then the participant will be awarded the higher prize money.
Final Rankings for prize money in Open category will be basis Gun Time
Prize money will be only for Indian citizens.

In addition to the above rules, finishing positions and allocation of prize money are subject to:

Bib tag timing data across all timing checkpoints on the course, including the start and finish
Physical verification by race officials
Race day images shall be used to manually verify the authenticity
Participants who change their running number bib and/or bib tag with other runners shall be immediately disqualified from the competition and will not be entitled to time recording and prize money

All participants have to collect their running bib from the expo

– NO BIBS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED ON RACE DAY

Participants must carry the following on the Bib Expo:

Covid-19 Final Vaccination Certificate
If participants don’t have final vaccination certificate, then they should get their RTPCR Test result done 72 hours prior
Aadhar Card or any other ID proof
